Boarding your Pet

At this time, we only offer boarding to hospitalized and surgical patients, on a case by case basis.

If you are in need of boarding arrangements, we suggest contacting either Cloud Nine Pet Resort or A & B Kennel Club. Both facilities are located in Wylie. We strongly suggest you make your reservations as early as possible (especially around busy holidays) and arrange a tour before you drop off to ensure the facilities meet you expectations as well as your pet’s needs.

Wherever you decide to board you pet, please recognize that they will require you pet to be current on vaccines and some may require a monthly flea and tick control. For dogs, they will ask for proof of Rabies, Canine Distemper (DHPP) and Bordetella. Some facilities require Bordetella every 6 months. For cats, they need proof of Rabies and Feline Distempter (FVRCP).  Check with your facility to see what their specific requirements are.

If your pet needs vaccine boosters, it is best practice to give them at least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of your pet’s boarding reservation. This allows enough time for an immune response to occur.  Please contact us if you need to check the due dates for your pet’s vaccines, or to schedule an appointment for vaccine boosters. We also carry topical and oral flea and tick control.
